I want to post all the pics I took, but that would take too long to load. Here are my faves. New Skirt from Curtians!

I recently (5 min ago) finished this patterned skirt! I love this print! Pattern from Burdastyle.
I made a green one from sheets the other day. I love the idea of "recycling" fabrics. I never get to buy fabrics, but I can re-purpose them!

Curtians

I was attempting to hem my Ikea curtains yesterday, but they were all crooked and messed up. Anywyas, i was making them shot curtains, about 6-8in. below the window sill. So now i have enough fabulous material to make another skirt! happy happy happy!
pictures coming soon

BurdaStyle

I discovered the greatest website yesterday! Burdastyle has dozens of free patterns and even more inexpensive ones, all under $5. I made a skirt from a free pattern I "purchased" yesterday, and am wearing it right now! So simple!

Okay . . .

My sewing machine got busted so I'm stalling the DIY for the Wee Bunni. I was procrastinating, so I made some magnets this afternoon. They can also double as tiny bulletin boards. Just cut mini papers and stick them in the corners. The directions for the coasters are here listed under "useful origami". This is so simple I feel kinda guilty posting it. But anyways:

Materials: Origami paper, glue and old magnets or magnet adhesive, tape.

Step 1 : Fold the coaster. Tape the back so the flaps don't come loose.

Step 2 : Attach a magnet to the back

Step 3 : Let dry

Step 4 : admire how awesome it is on your 'fridge.

ANYWAYS today I went to the winter dance and had so much fun. I wore my 3-inch Payless heels for half, then my feet started to hurt so I changed back to my Target boots. Anyways, IT WAS AWESOME!

Heart Shaped Paper Clips

I just found the most ADORABLE paper clip project in the history of forever! HEART SHAPED PAPER CLIPS! Just bend a norman paper clip and it's a heart! I'm soooo gonna do this.

And tomorrow is the Winter Dance! It's liable to be quite lame, because it's form 3-5 in the FRICKING AFTERNOON. But whatever. I'm sure I'll have a good time being molested by my classmates (ANDREAS). Plus we have the dress rehearsal for the Greek murder trial and I'm the defendant, Daphne. Wish me luck!

[The paper clips were a lot harder than they looked. I gave up after doing about 2. My paper clips are forming a conspiracy against me.]

Genes

Genes are AWESOME!
We learned about them in science class today. This is how it works :

AA = brown eyes = dominant
aa = blue eyes = dormant
aA or Aa = brown eyes = hybrid

since A = brown and uppercase is alway
s dominant, the hybrid person has BROWN eyes!
Aren't I brilliant?

Bath and Body Works

A few days ago, I went to the Mall with my friends, and we went to Bath and Body Works. AND they were having a clearance sale on the signature collection! I got $5 worth of tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, sweet pea scent.

Above : orange shampoo and conditioner, sweet pea shower gel, lime-coconut veranda shampoo, and winter candy apple hand foam.

The hand foam was 43 cents, okay? How could I resist?
